Justin Timberlake (10) - September 3, 2016

Image result for can't stop the feeling

Issuing a major change in the color code this week. You can look at the color code on the side of the blog. If you are wondering what the past color codes were, here it was:

Purple = Best
Green = Good
Orange = Old but still good
Dark Green = Old
Yellow = Old and needs to leave
Blue = Alright
Red = Bad
Turquoise = Worst

Now it looks a little different. On to the countdown. Only thing I'm saying is that this would have been one of the best weeks ever if Can't Stop the Feeling wasn't #1.

When will Hits 1 realize that Red Dress is never going to become a hit? There are other songs in this world that have the potential to become a hit. *hint hint* Danger Twins - Radar *hint hint*

Death of a Bachelor and Bacon are really catchy.

Be as You Are isn't on #40Friday but it probably will be next week. That's why it's in green.

I finally realized how amazing Kids is. It must debut the countdown.

Hit-Bound top 5
5. Nick Jonas - Bacon (DEBUT)
4. Troye Sivan/Alessia Cara - Wild
3. Panic! at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor (DEBUT)
2. OneRepublic - Kids
1. Big Gigantic/Angela McCluskey - The Little Things

I Got Blurbs in My Head and They Won't Go
Speaking of color changes, Can't Stop the Feeling might turn to red in the next month. This song must leave the #1 spot.

I am slowly growing out of Lovesick. Don't be surprised if it turns to blue soon.

One Dance should not be dropping.

Unsteady actually set a record for biggest drop AND biggest move of the year, 27 spots. That's strange because a huge drop like this usually happens every month or two.

Unsteady was also the only top 10 exit. That means there's a top 10 entrant. And it's Girls Talk Boys!!!! Yaaaaaassss!!!!!

Countdown top 5
5. Major Lazer/Justin Bieber/MØ - Cold Water (DEBUT)
4. Coldplay/Beyoncé - Hymn For the Weekend
3. Adele - Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
2. Lukas Graham - Mama Said
1. 5 Seconds of Summer - Girls Talk Boys

#40Friday is out! Will Girls Talk Boys hold on to #1 for the fifth week in a row? Find out here.

Also, please vote for my poll.

Most Missed Song: Hoodie Allen/Ed Sheeran - All About It

Guess the Weekend Countdown
2 exits.
The #1 is the female's first, and it is on its second week.

    My WC post is out, by the way. And please excuse the large number of throwback picks.

  3. Nice post!

    ~I'm glad you really like Death Of A Bachelor and Bacon.
    ~Why is Superstitious in blue?
    ~I agree with you on Red Dress. I loved the song at first but I now realize that it is just another song that's going to get stranded on hitbound.
    ~Lukas Graham - Mama Said seems to just be hanging around in the 19-23 area. Can we just get it off the countdown???

    1. Superstitious is not really popular and I don't listen to it often.

      #1 Recommendation for the top 10: Lukas Graham - Mama Said

    2. I agree with anything Triff says about Mama Said. But it isn't the worst song on the countdown for me anymore...

    3. In fact, most of MKTO's songs aren't really popular.

      Spotify plays:
      210,463,247 - Classic
      22,574,260 - Thank You
      20,208,146 - American Dream
      16,814,676 - Bad Girls
      2,134,393 - Superstitious

      It's Classic that was the popular one, while Thank You, American Dream, and Bad Girls were the kinda popular ones, and Superstitious isn't really popular.

    4. Parker: Whoa, Spirits is that bad? I thought you hated Mama Said more.

    5. Triff: Have you voted on my poll yet?

    6. I have a WC post coming out in a few. So you'll see. I might not be Spirits...

    7. We're still in round 2 voting right? Also, were are the blurbs?

    8. No, we're in round 3, and round 4 will probably start tonight. The rounds are super quick.

      Also, the title of your last Weekend Countdown post is still incorrect. It says August 27, 2018. It should be 2016.
