It was March 31, 2016. I saw a song with a strange name. That name was HandClap. It just had a strange name that made you want to listen to it. And I loved it. Soon I was imagining it debuting the countdown on June 25, 2016 (don't ask, I have a weird imagination), but five months after that, it debuts Hit-Bound?!?! That's crazy. I'm just wondering why they chose this song over the song that was performed at the pre-show red carpet AMAs, one of my favorites right now, Spencer Ludwig - Diggy. And Hits 1 was there! Why didn't you choose it?!? But don't get me wrong, I still love HandClap. End of story!

I'm really liking Words and Love Like We Used To. They're both pretty catchy.

I know that I said I was growing out of The Night is Young, but I changed my mind. It's just so catchy. :)

Words cannot describe how sick I am of We Don't Talk Anymore, Body Say, and Dangerous Woman. Yet I'm starting to like Cheap Thrills again, and it's in blue.

Besides My Way, Girls Talk Boys, and Play That Song, this is one of the worst bottom 15s ever. But for some of the others, I still partially like them.

Instead of listening to Setting the World on Fire on the countdown, I listened to MKTO - Thank You on my Spotify. I've told you numerous times that this is their best. Good song.

I'm sorry Parker (and everyone else), but I heard Rae Sremmurd/Gucci Mane - Black Beatles on my local radio station last night.It's not fair that some unpopular songs like The Summer Set - Figure Me Out peak at #13 while other unpopular songs like a certain song currently charting just hang around in the low 20s. Unfair.

2016 AMAs Review

Hello! I'm reviewing the performances from the AMAs, a very big night in music.


Pre-show

Spencer Ludwig - Diggy
This is the reason I reviewed the pre-show performances along with the regular ones. Honestly, his voice is better in the regular song, but he is a great trumpeter. I also found out that this guy plays the trumpet in Capital Cities - Safe and Sound. And also, at right about this point, it started snowing where I live for the first time this year, which is awesome. :)

Emeli Sandé - Hurts

She has a nice voice. The song is cool, too.

Main show

Bruno Mars - 24K Magic

This was a great start to the show, and I really like this song. But of course, listening to the original song is better than in concert.

This song is catchy but boring at the same time. He has a great voice though.

I am very disappointed in Hits 1 about Chase You Down's drop. This song should be more popular.

Probably every time I go into a car and the FM is playing, I hear Let Me Love You. Every. Single. Time.

I feel like that by Christmas, This Town will be a hit or a flop.

Why the heck is Greenlight holding? This should be jumping!

I guess I'm happy about the 23-spot jump that took place today because it gave more activity to the countdown. But I'm not too happy that it was Good Grief.

Can someone explain why Into You is higher than Side to Side?
