1. DNCE - Cake by the Ocean (#1)

Biggest Drop: Gwen Stefani - Make Me Like You (-25)
Biggest Jump: Tie between Grace - You Don't Own Me and Selena Gomez - Hands to Myself (+13)

Entrants:
The Weeknd - In the Night's re-entry was kind of unnecessary. Leave next week, please.

I love Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop the Feeling! I hope it does well.

I think I've known Daya - Sit Still, Look Pretty for a couple of months now. It's still good though.

Comments:
R.I.P. Ellie Goulding - On My Mind.

Two records (for this year) were tied this week. The first was from Gwen Stefani - Make Me Like You. When The Chainsmokers/Rozes - Roses dropped 8 spots, I thought it would drop 30 spots. But I predicted that Make Me Like You would drop 25...and somehow it did.

The other was from the new Daya - Sit Still, Look Pretty. It would have been better if it debuted at #20 or higher so it would break Dawin - Dessert's record. Same with Gwen Stefani - Make Me Like You. It should have dropped 26 spots to break the record...wait...but I like that song!

Oh my gosh, can One Direction's Drag Me Down and Perfect leave? Drag Me Down can leave next week, but maybe Perfect can leave in two weeks.

Justin Bieber - Sorry may be leaving us next week.

Selena Gomez - Same Old Love has now been in the 30s for THREE MONTHS. That's rare.

Demi Lovato - Confident dropped by 24. That's good.

Nick Jonas/Tove Lo - Close and Mike Posner/SeeB - I Took a Pill in Ibiza need to jump immediately.

I don't think X Ambassadors - Unsteady can get past #22. I also don't think Elle King - America's Sweetheart can get past #13.

I have a feeling that P!nk - Just Like Fire can be #1 in a month or two.

I'm happy that Lukas Graham - 7 Years is dropping, but I'm not happy that Meghan Trainor - No is dropping.

We need a new #1. It should be:
One Direction - History
James Bay - Let it Go
Taylor Swift - New Romantics
Troye Sivan - Youth
Meghan Trainor - No
Even Panic! at the Disco - Victorious would be a good #1. Just for one week though.

1. DNCE - Cake by the Ocean (#2)

Biggest Drop: G-Eazy/Bebe Rexha - Me, Myself & I (-22)
Biggest Jump: Demi Lovato - Confident (+20)

Comments:

This week is the first week of the year where both the biggest drop/jump moved at least 20 spots.

It's sad that G-Eazy/Bebe Rexha - Me, Myself & I and Grace - You Don't Own Me will leave soon.

One song that has been in the 20s for a few weeks dropped to #38. Another song that has been in the 20s for a few weeks is still in the 20s. (It's #23.)

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman is dropping when it should be jumping.

Charlie Puth - One Call Away, James Bay - Let it Go, One Direction - Perfect, and Demi Lovato - Confident made some comeback jumps. What's really strange is that Confident's jump got it in the top 10.

Taylor Swift - New Romantics finally made it to the top 10.

Lukas Graham - 7 Years is dropping and Meghan Trainor - No is jumping?!? Thank you!

DNCE - Cake by the Ocean made it to #1 again. I didn't think it would happen again. But I'm fine with that.

Instead of Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out or DNCE - Cake by the Ocean at #1, let's have Meghan Trainor - No at #1. Next week. And make that week a(n at least) 5-exit week.

March 2014/April 2014 throwback debuts:

Comments:

I did not expect One Direction - Drag Me Down to drop. That song might leave next week.

This is your third warning, Jason Derulo - Get Ugly. How did it jump??? I don't know!

Grace - You Don't Own Me is not getting far on this countdown. Hopefully it can reach the top 20.

One Direction - Perfect has finally dropped by a lot. That song is so old.

Welcome to the top 20, Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman and Twenty One Pilots - Ride!

1. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out (#3) (WHAT A COMEBACK)

Biggest Drop: Dawin - Dessert (-11)
Biggest Jump: Taylor Swift - Out of the Woods (+16)

Entering:

I like Mike Posner/SeeB - I Took a Pill in Ibiza.

But Gwen Stefani - Make Me Like You is better.

Comments:

Daya - Hide Away and Jason Derulo - Get Ugly need to leave. You're both good songs, but you have spent quite some time near the bottom of the countdown.

I love the beginning for Grace - You Don't Own Me that Hits 1 plays. It just sounds cool.

Taylor Swift - Out of the Woods made a random biggest jump this week and I am very happy!

I doubt that We the Kings - The Story of Tonight will enter the top 20. It might even leave soon.

Are you serious??? Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman DROPPED on its third week? This should be fixed next week.

I did grow into 5 Seconds of Summer - Jet Black Heart. I just thought about why I don't like the song, listened to it, and suddenly I like it.

WHY IS Lukas Graham - 7 Years AT #8??? STOP IT NOW!!!

Could Selena Gomez - Hands to Myself hit #1 next week?

Possible exits next week:
45. Jason Derulo - Get Ugly (#41)
44. Coldplay - Adventure of a Lifetime (#42)
43. Daya - Hide Away (#45)
42. One Direction - Drag Me Down (#38)
40. Charlie Puth - One Call Away (#34)

Possible #1s next week:
3. Selena Gomez - Hands to Myself (#6)
1. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out (#3)

DNCE (2) - April 16, 2016

Biggest Drop: Charlie Puth - One Call Away (-12)
Biggest Jump: Twenty One Pilots - Ride (+15)

Lone Entrant:

X Ambassadors - Unsteady is good and better than Renegades (which I liked too.)

Comments:

Daya - Hide Away and Jason Derulo - Get Ugly have had its time on the countdown.

I don't think a lot of Hits 1 fans like Rihanna/Drake - Work or Meghan Trainor - No, but they are really popular on other charts.

Meghan Trainor - No should be in the top 10 by now! Please jump next week!

Charlie Puth - One Call Away and Adele - Hello might actually be leaving soon. Sorry I've mentioned Hello in the comments 6 weeks in a row. I'll try not to mention it next week.

Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer jumping 8 spots is kind of ridiculous.

The Weeknd - In the Night jumping to the 20s is also ridiculous. Drop next week and I'll (sort of) be happy.

Yes, I did grow into Elle King - America's Sweetheart.

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman jumped only 4 spots on its second week. I think that's ridiculous too. It should jump more.

James Bay - Let it Go is in the top 20!

Lukas Graham - 7 Years and 5 Seconds of Summer - Jet Black Heart dropping makes me happy.

Please get Taylor Swift - New Romantics and Fifth Harmony - Work From Home in the top 10 next week.

Troye Sivan - Youth is in the top 10 now. I didn't expect it in the top 10 but I'm fine with it.

Possible exits next week:
45. Daya - Hide Away (#43)
44. Adele - When We Were Young (#36)
43. Rihanna/Drake - Work (#41)
42. Coldplay - Adventure of a Lifetime (#40)

DNCE (1) - April 9, 2016

Unfortunately, we said goodbye to a three great and catchy songs this week. But we said hello to three new, catchy songs this week.

Exits: (Charlie didn't announce this.)

Biggest Jump: Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato - Irresistible (+17)

Entering:

I'm happy the three entrants made the countdown.

Grace - You Don't Own Me is good. I don't think my mother is happy about it making the countdown though. She doesn't like it.

Twenty One Pilots - Ride is good too. It's as good as Stressed Out.*

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman is good too.

Comments:
I'm starting to like Elle King - America's Sweetheart. I didn't really like the part when she screamed, "I'M NOT AMERICA'S SWEETHEART!!!". I do like it a little now. But Ex's & Oh's was much better. Unfortunately that left this week. I fear there will never be another song like you.

Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer might be on its way out next week. Possibly the same for Adele - When We Were Young in two or three weeks.

Adele - Hellhas dropped 14 spots to #20. #20. #20. The lowest it's gotten on the countdown.

I ended up putting Fifth Harmony - Work From Home in purple. It might not be next week.

Anyone else sick of Zayn - Pillowtalk?

I'm happy DNCE - Cake by the Ocean hit #1. I had a dream in late March that it hit #1. It definitely was late timing, but I'm happy.

Possible #1 songs next week:
3. Zayn - Pillowtalk (#7)
2. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out (#4)
1. DNCE - Cake by the Ocean (#2)

Possible exits next week:
37. One Direction - Drag Me Down (#37)
39. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer (#27)
41. Rihanna/Drake - Work (#41)
43. Daya - Hide Away (#45)
44. Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats - S.O.B. (#33)
45. Jason Derulo - Get Ugly (#43)

1. Flo Rida - My House (#2)

Biggest Drop: The Weeknd - In the Night (-17)

Biggest Jump: G-Eazy/Bebe Rexha - Me, Myself & I (+18)

Entering:

The three debuts are all 2 spots away from each other.

At #40, Elle King - America's Sweetheart isn't that good. Ex's & Oh's was much better. There are now 3 bad songs on the countdown.

At #38, Shawn Hook - Sound of Your Heart is good.

I first heard Tryon - Somebody to Love Me last month, but it's like 4 months old. So it's not old yet. I hope this song stays for some time. And it's at #36.

Comments:

I put some more songs in orange this week.

Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?'s re-entry did not last long. I'm not surprised.

Goodbye Alessia Cara - Here. I'll miss you.

Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer is going to leave soon. Probably the same for Adele - When We Were Young, which I have fully grown into last week.

MØ - Kamikaze should enter the top half of the countdown or the Top 20 next week.

Justin Bieber - Sorry made a nice jump.

Could Meghan Trainor - No not make the Top 10? We'll see.

What is Lukas Graham - 7 Years doing at #13??? It's so depressing.

Here are Justin Bieber/Ed Sheeran - Love Yourself's statistics since March 5:
March 5: #5
March 12: #13
March 19: #35
March 26: #16
April 2: #10

Here are Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out's statistics since March 12:
March 12: #1
March 19: #21
March 26: #13
April 2: #4

If Adele - Hello drops to #7-#13 next week, it will have been the lowest it's ever gotten since its debut. Dropping to #15 or less would make it the lowest it's gotten on the countdown.

Flo Rida - My House made it to #1. Like I said before, I didn't even think it would be a top 10 song, but I'm fine with it at #1.
