She Sets the City on Fire remains the best song on Hit-Bound, while Dancing on My Own is now the worst.

Little Mix returns with Shout Out to My Ex, which is catchy.

Maty Noyes - In My Mind and Hey Violet - Guys My Age both debut. They're both catchy, but Guys My Age is better.

I thought Bruno Mars - Versace on the Floor was available for vote. I guess it's debuting Hit-Bound next week?

Okay, Bad Things is really growing on me. My favorite line, for no reason, is: "I want you forever even when we're not together, scars on my body so I can take you wherever."

I went back to sleep at about #27 on the countdown, and I woke up during Hit-Bound. And to my surprise, I'm not even kidding, I actually dreamed about the songs playing on Hit-Bound when they were playing on my headphones. So crazy.

And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for...THE RETURN OF TAYLOR SWIFT!!! She's back with Zayn, and unexpected collaboration, but I'd say this is good. I think it's pretty catchy, in fact. But Taylor Swift is better than Zayn in this song. Oh yeah, it's called I Don't Wanna Live Forever.

Ouch. Body Moves took a harsh drop this week. Anyway, they put on an energetic performance at Jingle Ball last night.

I'm happy that Let Me Love You had the biggest drop. I still hear it every time I listen to FM radio in the car. Every. Damn. Time.

I'm quite happy that Greenlight, Play That Song, and In the Name of Love managed to make the top 15.

If this countdown is supposed to be the most popular songs in North America, Death of a Bachelor should not be #8. This is getting ridiculous.

Oh my God people. This is the #21 song on pop radio, the #75 song on iTunes, and the #35 song on Spotify (global). How is it hitting #1 here again? It's December, not September...

Is it weird that both times that I postponed #40Friday to Saturday, Treat You Better was #1?

Jingle Ball Blurbs

The holiday party started off with Fifth Harmony (and Parker, DJ Khaled introduced them). Their vocals were off a little bit, but the performance was still good. I just wish they performed Sledgehammer.

Lukas Graham performed after that. He started off with Mama Said, then You're Not There, then this other song called Drunk in the Morning, and then 7 Years. I had to grow into it a little bit because they were performing it. It does have a sweet meaning. So yeah, it will grow out of me at some point.

The winner of season 11 of America's Got Talent, Grace VanderWaal, introduced Ellie Goulding, which was cool to see. Unfortunately, Ellie didn't perform Still Falling For You. Then Diplo performed, and MØ decided to perform with him. She even sang Final Song, and she had some nice dance moves. Then came Daya, who was off-key and her performance was only alright. All of a sudden after that, Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello made a surprise performance of Bad Things, which I am starting to love.

After that was Niall Horan, which the crowd screamed over. He performed This Town with PERFECT vocals. It almost sounded like the original song.

DNCE performed, and it was a cool performance. They performed Cake By the Ocean and Body Moves, as well as Spice Girls - Wannabe and Kanye West - Fade.

Around this time, Hailee Steinfeld performed Starving, but I was going to videotape when she was singing Love Myself. It turned out she did not perform Love Myself, so I didn't get her on video. :(

Soon, many of the performers sang Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. It was a nice performance.

Charlie Puth performed We Don't Talk Anymore, Marvin Gaye, One Call Away, and See You Again. It was good.

Soon came the most popular artists of 2016 (Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber). Ariana's performance was nice, and she wore a coat during the performance. The Chainsmokers were really energetic, and both of them and Daya stood on the table when performing Don't Let Me Down.

The final performance was Justin Bieber, and the crowd screamed so loud over him. He performed some of his songs acoustically. I think his performance was nice, but my mom didn't like it, except that What Do You Mean was one of her favorites from 2015. If we skipped him, we would have made the 11:42pm train and I would have been in bed two hours earlier. Oh well. But that's the end of the Jingle Ball blurbs.

One last thing, where the heck is Parker? We haven't heard from him in almost a week, I'm getting worried. Parker, if you see this, please come back. :(

It's a coincidence that After the Afterparty is debuting on Hit-Bound just about two years after Break the Rules debuted the countdown. Anyway this song is super catchy and her best besides Break the Rules, which was her best song, and Doing It.

Bad Things was okay, but I grew into it.

I'm shocked that The Night is Young left Hit-Bound. I actually thought it might debut the countdown but it had only like 6 spins between Monday and Friday. This is The Summer Set's best song and I was growing back into it.

I guess I grew back into Bacon a little when listening to it. Huh.

I kinda want Stressed Out to hit a year on the countdown. I used to love this song and it probably will be TOP's best. I hope it hits #1 on the year-end list too over Can't Stop the Feeling.

For Daniel: Spyder mentioned the show Train Tracks on the Pulse when introducing Play That Song.

Not to upset you Miles, but we seriously need more activity on this countdown. We've had a whopping 5 exits in the past 4 weeks, no re-entries in 7 months, no 3-exit weeks since November 5, no 6+ exit weeks in a year, and this is the third week in a row with 1 exit.

Oh man, a lot of people are going to be mad about Unsteady's jump. I think it's had enough time in the top 20.

Cold Water just pulled a Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down in a way by having the biggest drop and then shot back up the countdown by having the biggest jump. But I Will Never Let You Down literally dropped out of the countdown from the teens and re-entered back in the teens that next week.

It was March 31, 2016. I saw a song with a strange name. That name was HandClap. It just had a strange name that made you want to listen to it. And I loved it. Soon I was imagining it debuting the countdown on June 25, 2016 (don't ask, I have a weird imagination), but five months after that, it debuts Hit-Bound?!?! That's crazy. I'm just wondering why they chose this song over the song that was performed at the pre-show red carpet AMAs, one of my favorites right now, Spencer Ludwig - Diggy. And Hits 1 was there! Why didn't you choose it?!? But don't get me wrong, I still love HandClap. End of story!

I'm really liking Words and Love Like We Used To. They're both pretty catchy.

I know that I said I was growing out of The Night is Young, but I changed my mind. It's just so catchy. :)

Words cannot describe how sick I am of We Don't Talk Anymore, Body Say, and Dangerous Woman. Yet I'm starting to like Cheap Thrills again, and it's in blue.

Besides My Way, Girls Talk Boys, and Play That Song, this is one of the worst bottom 15s ever. But for some of the others, I still partially like them.

Instead of listening to Setting the World on Fire on the countdown, I listened to MKTO - Thank You on my Spotify. I've told you numerous times that this is their best. Good song.

I'm sorry Parker (and everyone else), but I heard Rae Sremmurd/Gucci Mane - Black Beatles on my local radio station last night.It's not fair that some unpopular songs like The Summer Set - Figure Me Out peak at #13 while other unpopular songs like a certain song currently charting just hang around in the low 20s.
