Thank goodness for Treat You Better dropping to the bottom 5. It is the oldest song on this countdown and it was needed.

Poor Now or Never. It's over 10 spots below the lowest other debut from last week. Honestly I think it deserves a boost too.

Looks like Don't Leave and Lights Down Low are following a constant path, up 1 and 3 spots each week, respectively. This is a good thing because they're not good songs, as songs like Something Just Like This jump higher on their second week.

All Time Low is about to drop to the bottom 15, which is a good thing. Fun fact, the two songs below it also have peaked at #5, making 3 songs in a row peaking at #5.

I swear, Heavy has to be one of the most active songs on this countdown in a long while. Its tenure so far? 34-18-19-34-10-10-26-5-18. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's 106 total spots moved in 8 weeks, an average of 13.25 spots per week. That's a quite impressive feat.

After a few weeks, Weak and L.A. Devotee have both jumped into the top 20. I'm not impressed with this, but it's a good thing.

Say You Won't Let Go dropped out of the top 5 but I don't think it's done yet. It's probably going to suddenly jump back next week.

I'm kinda stunned at Paris at a new peak. This isn't really their current single, so it'll be dropping soon.

Mercy needs to go.

Stay should be at #1 soon. It's gaining on radio, so hopefully it can do it.

I'm already starting to get tired of these sudden drops from #1 and jumps to #1. I mean...it just always happens unexpectedly. However, I'm definitely fine with our new #1. And Shape of You jumping back to #2 is still a little strange.

There's not much to say about Halsey's new single except for the fact that it's catchy and the beat in the chorus is very similar to Needed Me by Rihanna. Halsey is also releasing a new album soon, for your information. And to be honest, this gets the award for best debut of the week.

Sign of the Times is really an old-type (1960s or 70s) song, which is strange because Harry himself was in a pop band for over 5 years. His debut album is expected May 12. I found this song boring but catchy. I unfortunately don't see it sticking with me though. Also, this song is really long.

I think Slide is catchy but it is too late to debut my personal chart. It's interesting that only rappers sing this song when it's EDM. I don't even know the meaning but I still like it. And yes I think I'm running out of things to say. Now, when will Calvin's album be out?

Honestly, it's about time Something Just Like This debuted. It really is one of the best songs off the new album and I'm happy it debuted here. However, like Slide, it's too late to debut my personal chart. The EDM in the song is similar to Roses and other parts of the song are similar to the original version of Hymn For the Weekend.

Kissing Strangers is actually my new jam. The chorus is so fun and the verses are catchy too. I think it just might be their best single. But why would they be kissing strangers? :/

You may remember Hey Violet from Guys My Age earlier this year, which I loved. They're back! I think Break My Heart is a good song but not as good as Guys My Age ever was.

Good Life is from the soundtrack for The Fate of the Furious. It's technically pop-rap, as it's rising on pop radio. But I like this one and I hope it does well. I like the chorus to this one.

Still Got Time is also really catchy. I'm not sure if it will be a big hit because of its radio stats but I hope it will be because it's perfect for the summer.

Good News has slightly faded on me, but I don't see this turning to red.

I Want Something Just Like Blurbs

There was actually a higher than average number of exits this week. First exit was Everyday, which debuted while flopping on the radio charts, so if it was going to last just 2 weeks here, it didn't even need to debut. Good song anyway. I've said multiple times that Scars to Your Beautiful never faded on me. I Got You deserved much more and will be one of my favorite songs of the year. And finally, Hymn For the Weekend deserved to go. I'm happy it was replaced by Something Just Like This. And thank goodness there won't be any more arguments about the voting poll because it was never on it!

Hits 1 is really mistreating Miss You. It's nearing the top 10 on my personal chart, and in my opinion, I think Hits 1 really underrated it, as it's a great song.

I hope this drop for Heathens means that it will be leaving us soon.

There were two mediocre or bad debuts last week, what were the odds of them both having lousy second week jumps here? I'll take that anytime.

I think this is the first week in a long time that there were two debuts in a row.

Can Treat You Better stop jumping? It's old and also the oldest song on this countdown.

L.A. Devotee takes off into the top 30. Of course, Hits 1. This will be the next Death of a Bachelor in no time.

I really don't see why Chained to the Rhythm had to drop out of the top 20. You know Hits 1, it's really popular. Well I guess it peaked at #6, so what.

It's a little odd to see Bad Things almost back in the top 15, but I'm not complaining.

So now I Feel it Coming is in the top 10. I didn't expect this to happen so late but I'm happy with it.

I didn't think Shape of You would drop that much that fast and that isn't a good thing. I will say the same for That's What I Like.

Looks like Heavy pulled a Just Hold On, but one spot better. This song is just moving all around the place, but I'm fine if it stays up here.

Ugh!!! I swear, I think Hits 1 is boosting Say You Won't Let Go just to piss me off. It's not even a major hit yet. Please don't hit #1. But if it blocks Stay from #1 that would be much worse. I'm really hoping to see that one at the top soon.

Castle on the Hill at #1 isn't really a good thing but not a bad thing either. It's the neutral song in this situation. I don't really think it deserves any more time at #1. Plus, it hasn't even been released to pop radio yet.

Album Review: The Chainsmokers - Memories...Do Not Open

Hey guys! I'm here to review my second album, which is The Chainsmokers' Memories...Do Not Open. First, anyone notice in the top right corner of the album cover it says "Stay awake"? Just saying. But anyway, this is their first full-length album. I don't think anyone would have predicted in 2014 that these guys would become really popular. The album title kinda bothers me, because it kinda sounds like it shows that "memories don't open" but it's actually "this is a box of memories, do not open it". All of the tracks that do not have a featured artist include vocals from The Chainsmokers. Okay I know you just want to see the album review so here it is, track-by-track.

Track 1: The One
This is a calm track, it doesn't have much to it. But there literally is no EDM in the first minute of the song. The EDM is really in the second half of the song, and it's not much. It's a nice track to start the album, but I'm just giving a warning that there's not a lot of the EDM we expected.

Track 2: Break Up Every Night
This is hands-down the best song off this album. And no, it's not your regular "good song", it's great. Actually, it's amazing. I'm pretty sure I like this because The Chainsmokers say this has indie rock roots and I like indie rock music. The EDM/production, specifically in the verses, is amazing. The EDM right after the second chorus is literally magical. The verses and pre-chorus are really fast-moving and that is the majority of what makes the song amazing to me. In parts of the song his vocals aren't that good but I still love the song. The meaning is, in The Chainsmokers' words, "that girl who we’re stuck on but is driving us crazy." That meaning makes the song more fun even if it isn't a good meaning. It was produced with Captain Cuts, who have also produced three top ten hits (if you include Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon) on #50Friday, including the amazing #1 I Got You by Bebe Rexha. The other was their own song, Love Like We Used To, which was a Hit-Bound dropout this year. There's no joke that this could be their fourth and maybe even their second #1. I'm so happy that this has the most plays on Spotify off the songs that were just released last Friday. This MUST be a single, and if you look HERE or HERE it turns out that a few others at Pulse Music Boards agree with me.

Track 3: Bloodstream
The composition of this song reminds me of Closer or Paris a little bit. The EDM in the chorus isn't that active, yet it's still fine. This also has a good meaning. It's just not that upbeat for me to love it.

Track 4: Don't Say (ft. Emily Warren)
Not much to say about this one, it's really just an average song for me. But that outro though is so weird it's funny. #QualmsQualmsQualmsQualms (yeah I had to)

Track 5: Something Just Like This (ft. or with Coldplay)
When this song was released I was in Florida and I was out at the time of day it was released. I listened to it there and it really sounded like a mix of Roses and the original version of Hymn For the Weekend. The EDM in this is really active and upbeat for once. I think I still like it the same as I originally did, but however it is too late for this one to debut #50Friday. I'd have no problem with people loving this one.

Track 6: My Type (ft. Emily Warren)
Yep, same girl on two tracks off this album. I like her vocals on this song, but the drop isn't too upbeat. I feel like that would be my main concern with some of the tracks on this album, which kinda wouldn't be fair. However, there's not much more to say about this one.

Track 7: It Won't Kill Ya (ft. Louane)
The drop in this one feels slightly similar to Don't Let Me Down. It's really upbeat and "active". I like this girl's vocals too. There's not much more to say about this one, however.

Track 8: Paris
As I recently said, I really only like the verses to this song. They are upbeat and catchy for me. It starts getting a little worse in the pre-chorus. The drop isn't that amazing. It was not an excellent choice for a single.

Rating: 7.5/10 (actually a 7/10 because of overplay*)

Track 9: Honest
This is not too much of an amazing song. Like The One, the EDM really kicks in in the second half of the song. I don't like the vocals much in this one. After the second chorus is my favorite part, the "whoa-oh" part.

Rating: 6.5/10

Track 10: Wake Up Alone (ft. Jhené Aiko)
The beginning of this song reminds me of the Marshmello remix of Make Me (Cry). But anyway this is catchy, and I think it's mostly because of her vocals and the drop. I don't know what's with the sudden change in the ending but that isn't a good part to the song. I do like this one though and I'd definitely recommend this as a single.

Track 11: Young
I like the drop to this song and that's my favorite part. The verses aren't amazing but I like the meaning which is remembering the moments shared in a relationship. Anyway, there's not much more to talk about here.

Track 12: Last Day Alive (ft. Florida Georgia Line)
It's quite interesting to see a mixture of EDM and country music here. While country isn't an amazing genre, I like this. The drop is fun and the verses are good here. It's not amazing but it's good.
